Default lambda Sensor connects where ???

I have swapped the engine in my car, everything has connected back together fine, apart from i cant find where to plug in the lambda sensor from my exhaust headers.

It's on an MY98 classic WRX, any ideas.

Thanks
Chris.

My car is 96 pre-face. My lambda used to be in the headers but I moved it to the downpipe.

the pics are from the front looking at the maf. look for the plug that goes to the maf follow it back, to the split

on the 98 it is in the top of the downpipe.. you will find the plug under the intercooler..

it is better to mount it in the downpipe..
