Bonnet release!!!!
Hi,
I was filling my washer bottle today and now I can't get the bl**dy bonnet to close properly! I have has a fiddle with the mechanism and soaked it with WD40. Still no joy. It is a WRX Bugeye Wagon. Any suggestions other than doing a Basil Fawlty with a tree branch?
Is it safe to drive a few miles with it like this to get the garage?
Cheers

Yep cold weather tends to make the large lump of dirt encrusted grease go all viscus, and you have this problem. As people say if you wash it down with de-greaser or W40's and work it some it should be okay.
