OK, there's two of us up for this already. Prices to be finalised (based on qty). If you are interested post here or e-mail me off list. Worth pointing out that fitting is easy with 2 people as it uses the original mounting points and requires no further drilling. I may look at a painting deal if there is enough interest.

Wing, 22b replica ADJUSTABLE
All Impreza's 01-02 onwards. The top section of this wing is adjustable to increase down force at speed. Easily adjustable for on or off the track. Comes with red "LED" stop lamp, in lower wing, as well as wiring. Supplied with fully CNC machined alloy adjustable plates, Stainless steel fittings Allen key for adjustment, rubber seal kit, and fitting data. Supplied raw, ready to prepare and then paint, specialist fitting required.

Cheers

Question

Tony,

Quick question - they are MRT spoilers - are you actually getting them from MRT?

Don't want to pi$$ on your parade but the couple of times I and a friend of mine have used MRT directly, they have offered appaling service. Stuff was not dispatched for 4 weeks after the date they said it would be (after charging the credit card) and no amount of chasing up helped.

When the kit arrived, the order wasn't complete and one of the parts was damaged (even though it had been perfectly well packed (so can only assume it was damaged before it was packed)).

Said friend is currently going through the same pain with an order and frankly, I'm surprised he went back to MRT.

I'm not saying that MRT can't offer a reasonable service, it's just that twice they've let me down and I won't be using them again.

Just thought you should be warned....

Might be interested depending on price and possibilty of shipping onwards to Northern Ireland. The post above may put me off but a pic and few more details would be appreciated.

Wink

Thanks for the warning Matt, which I have taken in the spirit it was intended

Obviously, if negotiating the deal is not a smooth process then I won't take it further.

As for price hopefully this will be much better than the price on their website (Otherwise what's the point)

Hot some pics posted on my web site. Nothing fancy but may help people decide.

As for MRT's service, a few of my friends have ordered parts from them & seem to have no problems whatsoever!! However, did make me think.

Bear in mind these items cost as much to ship as they do to buy as they are charged on volume not weight (and it's a big box), then add import tax on the total cost inc. shipping.

We keep these items in stock. (if that's a help to anybody)?

Mike.

This is a new group buy, and to my knowledge we are not aware of this (yet), but as I have been away from Oz at the (UK) Autosport show, (with a trade stand promoting our parts) maybe someone has spoken to our sales staff.

However any group Buys are not supported by MRT Performance as the heavy discounting simply cuts out any possibility of local agent support of the product.
After all we all have to earn money to feed ourselves

I have already spoken to Scoobymania and Jap Innovations and Town End Garage, all MRT agents.

If the volume is large enough they will assist wherever possible, as the saving may be possible by a major reduction on bulk freight.

Please note these wings are available for the new and old shape impreza, both have different designs on the base.

http://www.mrtrally.com.au/performance/photosubaru.htm#Body Kits & Wings

The prodrive parts, such as UK 300 and P1 etc that we carry, we are sorry but we can not supply these back into the UK as this is all supported by Prodrive and Subaru UK..

Please reply me direct or refer to the agents
http://www.mrtrally.com.au/performance/dealers.htm

PS i ahve read the concerns of a few people whom have ordered off MRT, please contact me direct if there is anything more we can assist with.
Freight damage is often somethingt that is hard to control even when we pre inspect all parts and then package it with heavy duty cardboard box's
Delays on feright are inevitable, as the volume of what we ship is aimed at via our agents, however we do make every effort to provide the bests service and where this is not %100 we like to know so we can offer a solution.

best wishes for the new year and hello to all the people I met at Birmingham!

Thank-you to the Sales Prevention Department @ MRT.

I have scrapped the idea now and am looking at a UK manufactured product, who may be a tad more receptive to receiving our cash.

All those who have e-mailed me, now have an update to this effect. I will also start a new thread very soon.

Question

dont think that thats a too unfair comment to make... at least your not too far down the road... Maybee you should have contacted them first to see if they would?

Scoobymania have said they may do a deal and I've delt with them before and they were great.

Tony
I think you should give Mike Tuckwood a ring. I can see MRT's point of view. They are supplying to retail outlets and are trying to expand there market share in Scooby products in the UK through said dealers. How would you feel as one of these dealers if your supplier undercut you direct to the public.

Remember this is still a good product and you could possibly get the deal you are looking for through one of MRT's UK suppliers.

All the best
Pete

I am not going to get into a big debate on this because life is too short.

MRT were contacted about this first. I would have spoken to my staff and got fully briefed before posting.

I have a couple of more irons in the fire.
