Default WHAT HAVE I DONE?

bloody hell i just cant leave things alone
i was nearly on empty so i put 20quid in v power then thought id try that nitrox power booster/cleaner i put in in ontop then gave it a little drive to mix it in(few miles) no probs parked it outside pub then when i picked car up this morning ive got a worringly strange knocking noise about 2.5-4thous. rpm(sounds like something inside the head being shaken around)
it says that the 500ml bottle will treat bout 15ltrs and it was ok for unleaded etc i had bout 20-25ltrs of fuel in there so this morning i filled it to the brim with v power hoping it would dilute and stop the noise but ive done 30miles and still the same anyone know what ive done or what it is please cheers people

Whatever the opinions on here I'd run it to a local garage for a quick look, any knocking sound is potentially a bad thing...

that is a bit expensive for big ends and crank especially from a local garage, full new short engine is 1400,try a specialist like API,ZEN or scoobyclinic, they know what they are talking about and can advise better.

Default ERRRR

If its big end then no its not pricey at all, mine came to over £3.5k done at dealer under warranty usually short engine required plus bearings new crank NOT REGRIND and all ancillaries and gaskets.
As already mentioned you might get cheaper at places like ZEN and API. Funny thing is I paid £400 quid for a cambelt full service 30 miles later big end went, I think its all to do with oil change to be honest, I now do them only with millers fully synth and every 5000 miles hopefully no more probs.
