Am in the market for another scooby and came across this:

RA = race altered fella. Quite extreme cars if you like that sort of thing.

As said above, i would check it is a STi though as it has fog lamp plus no roof vent which I believe is standard on the STi version of the RA.
I had a 1995 and it had the roof vent plus fog lamp covers only as it helps keep the weight down.

Worth checking.

Doesn't seem right.... should be worth around £5K if it's straight.... Really silly gearing makes it silly fast, but bad on motorways and thirsty ! ! !

Looks like a WRX RA possibly but not sure if they did them that early? Best to check Type-RA.co.uk - Home of the Subaru Impreza WRX Type RA, Impreza WRX STi Type RA, Impreza Type RA V Limited, Scooby V. Ltd, visit the WRX forum & Subaru forum for more info as the RA range is a real mixed up bunch and can confuse many of us

pretty sure that is just a type ra, although my mate has a definate sti ra, n reg, it has fifth injector, no red top, and no roof flap, at under 3k i wouldnt have thought it was an sti. I used to have a wrx type ra, that was k reg.
