Rear brake pads - Do I need special tools
#1
About to change the rear pads as the imbeciles that serviced it recently didn't notice they were nearly out. They are now metal to metal.
Do I need any special tools or is it a quick squeeze job?
Thanks in advance,
Phil.

I've changed them on my 98 STi and they are just the easiest things to do.
One 12mm (I think) bolt at the rear allows the piston assembly to swing up leaving the pads ready to pluck out.
Not sure about previous MYs but I believe the rears have changed the least over the years.
neil.
