DCCD is a Driver Controlled Centre Differential and if you have a 2003 STi UK car then you dont have it and dont need to worry about it. The DCCD controls the amount of slippage in the drive train allowed between the front and rear wheels. It does this by controlling the Centre Differential by magnetic means. If you have a Jap import then it is likely to have DCCD.
A Knocklink is an electronic aftermarket device that senses detonation within the engine and warns your engine is operating in a way that engine damage could occur. The Engine ECU is also fitted with a sensor for knock and will retard the ignition on detection. The Knocklink is not an active device but displays what the knock sensor is detecting.
