Well the classic has two cats so best would be to decat the rear/mid section and get a sports cat downpipe better still a full decat . Best thing would be to ring them .

Got a ninja sports cat on my classic from scoobyworld. scoobyclinic wanted 150 quid to fit it. Me and a m8 did it in an hour. Get some heat wrap also to wrap that cat

Have a chat with ScoobyClinic about it.

You may well have "loads" of cats on your car. I'm not familiar with the details of the buggy modela though...

You may have....
- Up-pipe cat - pre-turbo.
- Downpipe cat (immediately post-turbo)
- Centre section cat (under the car).

Generally speaking, you only need the one cat. Providing your car is running properly and is properly setup. You may also have a post cat lambda sensor on the car that will get arsey if you completely DECAT it.

Regards,

J.

Default Big Cat !

Lose the catted up-pipe as they can fail if you re-map and they up the boost.
Also fit a catted down-pipe as you don't lose any real power, and then full system.... a couple of bhp isn't enough to notice, and you'll pass an MOT everytime.
The cat on a P1 is good for 400 bhp, but still they take them off

Dunx

P.S. Don't believe me ask Mike Wood @ Prodrive
