Best place to sell a wrx
Wheres the best place to sell a Subaru wrx
Ebay
Autotrader
Exchange and Mart
Other?
I tried recently in Autotrader at a price well below the private amounts suggested in Glasses guide - i.e. a wrx04 35K miles, good condition and dropped it down to £9.5k - didnt even receive one call over 3 weeks
At this rate I could put it into auction - dont know what I'd get though
Either theres a huge oversupply or no demand at all out there

as a price guide i paid £8995 for my 53 plate with 38k from a garage (non francaise)
glasses are a rough guide and cars never sell for the figures they show - you'll always get a lower p/x price from dealers than the guide shows

I tried on here without a fanfare and got nowhere
I'll maybe drop the price a bit more
I am partly thinking sod it - I'll track it a few times first and then offload!
So would you put in on Ebay or Autotrader - I really want to offload asap as I have a brand new Forrester STI and I also have an sti5 (track car)
People want for nothing these days - but its simply supply and demand - mine is an May04 - the £8995 sounds like a good deal
I may see what a dealer would offer but it'll be rock bottom - then again hassle free

Buyers Market ..... even for the 'desirable' cars, by 'desirable' I mean sub £1000 993cc super minis!!
I had ONE call and ONE buyer for the wifes Micra earlier this year, and then it was sold to someone at work who new it. It was a 1997/P plate 993cc Micra Muzic with 45,000miles on it (or thereabouts) new clutch and repaired gearbox ...... sold for £950, which was nothing - but was the only offer in town!

pistonheads is free to advertise your car. you have to become a member. all types of impreza are for sale just now. its a bad time of the year. there aren't many selling at the moment. i've seen some really low priced ones and there still for sale, prices keep dropping no one is buying. ebay auction set your reserve at the least money you would take. try dealers they'll are all robbers though they'll want to give you pennies.
