Default ecu question

right guy's i have jus bought a chip for my 1995 wrx and when i was removing the ecu i found that its a Z4.is this chip worth fitting as i think its intended for a standard ecu.this is the original ad.please read and give me your advise.thanks.ScoobyPro ECU

The easiest and safest way to increase the performance of your classic model Subaru Impreza (1992-1996)

These chips are the fabled Fujitsu Industries 27C1028 which has long been unavailable in Europe....... Until now!!!!!

These processors are a full REMAP for your WRX and UK model in both Saloon and Wagon versions.

They will:

Increase the boost electronically to 16psi. The only safe way to do this.

Improve the turbo spool up time.

Map the ignition and fuelling to match the new boost settings.

Remove the Japanese 112mph speed limiter setting.

Retain all of the original Subaru safety features and checks built into the OEM item.

Last but not least, they are mapped to run safely on UK 97 Ron super unleaded fuel.

Buy another ecu off ebay (from a lower spec car) and chip that ecu.. See which is better and maybe flog your Z4 as they go for good money

I bought an ECU to chip instead of changing my original one, think the ecu cost me £20 off ebay!
