I get this from time to time with my My02 bugeye..........sounds like a small waterfall under the passenger side glove box.

I solve the problem by turning the radio up a bit...it seems to have worked for the last 5 years without any ill effects

Apparently it's water circulating around the heater matrix.

it funny you mention this becasue over the last few days i've been driving with the radio off and have noticed this in mine.

Now i've noticed it, i can't help but hear it everytime i drive it now.

Weird, but they do say the sound of water has a calming effect. . .good for road rage!?

Guys,

You normally get this if your water level in the header tank is a little low. Used to get it in the 300 after I changed all the hoses for Samco ones.

When its cold take the top off the header tank and top it up to the top. Run it and do the same over again until the noise disappears and the water level remains @ the max

I only seem to notice it shortly after moving off from starting engine and it always seems to happen after it's rained - so I had assumed it was excess rainwater running down the drainage channels through the window posts or something similar.
