I am going to look at an 02 STI, that apparently has a prodrive pack on it. How will I be able to tell? and what does the prodrive pack entail?

What you need to know is Is it an 02sti prodrive ?which has prodrive body styling but still is the standard bhp or is it an sti with ppp ?which is the performance upgrade. Or it could be an 02sti prodrive withe the ppp also added. If it has ppp then it should have a certificate. If its a sti prodrive it will say so on the logbook. with out the ppp there rated at 265ps and nearer 300 with the ppp

 

Right, its decribed as a WRX-STI Prodrive, so i would imagine it is just the styling pack. Is there any way of checking on the car if a PPP is fitted?

What is it worth? with and without PPP?

as i said if it has the ppp it will have a certificate to say its been fitted. also can be checked at a dealer i would have thought. the are differences like exhaust changes, but these can be bought second hand and fitted. So its best to ask for the certificate. ppp parts are exhaust fuel pump and a remaped ecu so dificult to know if this car has these.


Dont let it put you off if it doesnt have the ppp as there pretty easy to get to and above the bhp the ppp offers. with a much better drive imo
