Default Who has deal with API?

Just wondering what your thoughts on the place are
I thought they were quite a decent place, i have only dealt with them once :-I went and viewed an impreza there a few months ago (before i bought my Type-R), and Dave seemed like a quite sound bloke.

Altho now, im trying to get a part from them and...well the guy who i keep getting on the phone (not Dave) seems to be missing his people skills.
Its like they dont want any business!

API are sound, as far as communicating goes David is the best I have seen so far in this business, I have exchanged e-mails with him numerous times and he also seems to go out of his way to help, so drop him an e-mail and I'm sure he won't turn your business away.

API are the only people I like to touch my Impreza. Only problem is earlier this year I moved to Ireland. I respect their work so much I am probably going back to visit my sister - just an excuse - around early Jan so they can do my 40k service, MOT and some mods.....

API are the best

I've just bought an Exedy Racing Organic clutch and a lightened flywheel from Api. The pilot bearing was missing when I opened the box,David could not have been more helpful to resolve this and even offered to pay my petrol costs if I wanted to travel to him and collect the bearing
I also spoke to a guy called Martin who gave me a call at work just to make sure I wanted the bearing posted and that they had the correct address.

Top marks from me

Ive been there many times chatting to David, when hes been reading and answering emails, phone calls. They are always busy and the parts parcels that come and go are numerous.

Give David a polite call, he will sort out any issues. Better to give him a chance than posting on here first.

I bought my car off them 18months ago. had a crank seal go and they had it in and fixed befor i knew it. since then the car has not missed a beat. i've always found david and everyone else who works for him to be very helpfull.Don't think i'd trust anyone else to touch my car.

I've replied to Phils pm. The gist of it is that I responded to his post on here about a 99 car MAF for which we quoted £80.00 + carriage and VAT.

Martin here has quoted £89.00 + VAT but including postage, as far as l can see from the paperwork.

The problem is that after I posted the price for the MAF on here, everyone in England rang and ordered one and we sold more in a week than we do in a month.

We ran out.

I ordered more from our supplier, who is not here in the UK and they are yet to arrive. Customs can be a breeze or a disaster.

I should have them here before the end of the week but in the meantime we have to wait HM Customs pleasure.

Phil rang and ordered after all the others and has been caught in the rush.

Apologies to all / anyone else waiting.

David APi

PS Thanks all for the votes of confidence, it helps a lot to get feedback anout service and so-on.

Thumbs up API

API - wouldn't trust anyone else with my STi RA.

Used David/API for a couple of years, and David and my credit cards have a deep and meaningful relationship.

I, as many others rate API very highly - rightly so.

David - FMIC in the spring - but Wifey must not know, OK?

No offence at all ! It doesn't do any harm to get a wake up call, to keep any of us independents on our toes.

I think the dealers have been a basket case for a long time.
