I have just picked up my 1st impreza, a 54 plate WRX, and I feel I have three comments to make,

1 Totaly gay Horn !!
2 what the hells going on with the stereo ? its sh@t !!
3 What an awsome car !!!

I did my 1st mod within 15mins of picking it up, fitted a forge BOV, sounds really cool without being too chavvy or in your face,

What do I need to do to replace the speakers in the front, it looks like I will have to cut a hole in the door cards,

Im not going crazy with ICE, I just want to get a decent sound, Ive got my eye one one of those single din flippy screen dvd thingies so obviously old head unit is going,

I would really appreciate it if anyone could give me any pointers on speaker sizes, fitting etc, feel free to email me

This time last year did the same thing picked up my first scoob MY 05 WRX no what you mean, the other thing to watch out for is the plumeting fuel gauge.

One year later just picked up my second scoob MY07 WRX STI Hawkeye

the horn though ........its more gayer

Take a look in the ice section theres a hole thread on how to replace the stereo with pics its really simple.
The speakers are a different matter and would suggest getting an ice person to install them for you, no need to do any cutting of the door panel.

Change the Hu first makes a world of difference if you aint to fussy about loudness.
