Default up pipe or downpipe

As above, thinking of getting rid of another cat on my bugeye, out of the two which is easiest to replace, and which will give me more power overall when mapped.Am i right in thinking if i leave one alone it will be mot friendly.
Any feedback appreciated,cheers.

Cool

The easiest is the downpipe. It will also release the most power. IMO you would be better getting a sports cat (they turn up on fleadbay) and using this, no worries at MOT time.

You will however need a remap.

Not 100% sure, but I think you would still need the sports cat for the MOT.
