Haven't seen it but after the last one I bought (Head to Head I think, the one where they race the Impreza against the Escort Cosworth) I vowed never to buy one again.

Just seems to be a nice christmas bonus for Mr Clarkson!

I think it should have been entiteld " The EGO has landed", but I think "Robbie" beat him to it. I too had it for Christmas... Very disapionting ..... and the TRANSIT..... What the F#C# was that all about ? I'm sure JC subscribes to Max P ..

I would have to agree not as good as I expected, he did not spend enough time (if any) on the Subaru Impreza, Skyline and Evo also what happened to the TVR Tuscan and new Lambo?? They would deffinately be in my top 100 oh and also the Sierra cossie which never gets a mention ever with Jeremy it's always an Escort cossie.

So on the 29th of December I brought it back to the overpriced shop Virgin and got vouchers I hope to give them away or buy the Fast and The Furious which I liked a lot better the second time I saw it in the Cinema, but did not like it so much the first time.

I ve got his "Hot 100" book from a few years back - are the cars the same or is it a new list?

Is the integrale on the dvd list? It was in the book.

 

I liked the bit where the MK1 GTI out dragged a lot of newer stuff, I have had a few MK1 GTI's and love them but I think a bit of licence is being taken here.

There was a page on the Channel 5 website, I can't find it at the moment but if you did a search for 'Fifth Gear' the working title of the program it tells you the story behind the.. ahem... setting up of the show.

Basically Channel 5 snagged part of the production team along with V B-H, Quentin Wilson, Tiff and one of the other presenters.

No wonder the BBC have removed Top Gear to 'redevelop the format' (find someone to present on it).

Tiff, VBH, that other ****(wears glasses) and Quentin will be on the show for sure.

I'll let you know what the format of the new show will be like. Mind you it will be 3 minutes shorter due to the commercial break.

To put the Ferrari 360 down in 94th or something (probably because he's pissed off at losing all that £££ on his F355), and then put a beaten-up Scirroco in like 30th simply because "he owned one once" makes a mockery of it all.

Skips over far too many cars (like the Evo, Scooby + Skyline) and then plays skittles with an Allegro (yawn)

Oh... and what a waste of technology.. the DVD has no extra features to speak of.. how cheap of the BBC

Rumours around that Clarkson maybe back for the New Top gear on Channel 4 or 5 .. whichever it is!

I am sure that there will be loads of rumours about getting the old team back together.. probably Sh1te!.. good for the ratings mind!

I thought that Top Gear had become very sterile and am looking forward to the new edition!
