Default Dumpvalve....Need more psssssssst!

Yestaday I fitted the forge dumpvalve to my 06 Impreza, I do feel rather ripped off, as it gives a weak and quick psssst and at 3,000rpm I feel it comes in too late.

After reading some older threads will greasing the internals or changing the spring inside make it pssst more, or should I accept I need to buy a louder dumpvalve.

dont you find you get embarrassed or get bored by them? I swap mine on a regular basis (ive consequenstly lost the bung) but now i find the noise of de-snorkeling much more fun

I thought mine was obscene when I had a top mount and a bit of extra boost.

But with a front mount it sounds like swords clashing at 100db!

Put the OEM one back one (as its the best for purpose) and do a snorkellectomy as mentioned above.
