HT Autos Splitter....
Quick question for those that have a HT Autos splitter on their WRX (or possibly any other one?)
I quickly put it on last night, but noticed around the bottom of the bumper that there were a few "*****" that seem to stick out at the bottom. I wasn't able to investigate these fully but it looks like they are poppers to hold the bottom of the bumper onto something?? Is this right?? Did you guys just fix the splitter regardless leaving a couple of gaps, or did you remove these poppers and is it safe to do so??
I took a couple of photos of the bits in question, but they aren't that great:
Any help greatly appreciated.

You're supposed to take those fittings off the car!
Usually the splitter has holes which line up and you put the fittings back through these.
IIRC tghose hold down some plastic bits on each side, look like black triangles.

Cheers for the reply mate!!
The reason I was a bit unsure was that the mounting holes on the splitter lined up with existing holes on the bumper, but where these poppers were there were no mounting holes on the splitter - if there were I would have put 2+2 together!! So it looks like I will have to drill some new holes in the splitter then?
As I said, wasn't able to get a decent look last night to see what these poppers held together.

I'd personally drill some extra holes for them or you'll have some loose plastic bits flapping about.
On my old splitter the holes did not match up exactly in the same place so placed a cable tie around them, secured it down well

Cable ties - Useful for so much more than just tidying cables!!!
Will get it trial fitted back up tonight and get the Black & Decker* out then.
(*Other models of Drill are available)

I fitted mine to an STI and must admit, all the holes lined up, but as above, you should remove the bolts. They hold in the front of the splashguard, so take them out, offer up the spoiler and push the bolts back through holding all three together. Its a bit of a ballache but looks good when done right.
Cheers
