Default Eibach Springs

Hi,

Looking at a set of Eibach Springs for my 05WRX, but the only ones that I can find state that they fit 03 -04 models. Is this true or will they fit 05 models also.

Yep no difference between Newage 01WRX to 07 WRX and Classic WRX and STi Springs est up

Although newage STi's are heavier on the front end than WRX's Personelly I'd never fit Eibach's on a newage STi. and why TF, buy Eibach's when prodrive Springs, with SIDC discount are cheaper

I'll be up for a set if the scoobynet members price is good.

I thought that the Prodrive ones were actually Eibachs

IIRC hope this makes more sense,

Classic front end weight differance between STi and WRX is only slight but on the newage it is enough to make a difference on suspension on bumpy roads if your always on a smooth track or road or just for looks then Eibach's may not be an issue

Eibach "make" 3 springs for a newage

1) For Prodrive WRX (blue), made with Prodrive specifications
2) For Prodrive STi (blue), made with Prodrive specifications
3) The spring they sell are their own specification and not a copy of Prodrives, The Spring is exactly the same for both STi and WRX They do not make their own STi spring

The prodrive WRX spring is simular cost maybe cheaper than RRP of an Eibach so why not fit a Prodrive WRX spring to a STi............ because it would be wrong

I had Eibach WRX springs fitted to my MY02 from new and had knocking issues on bumpy roads, later replace with the correct Prodrive ones and much better ( you also get uprated front Bump stops)

IMHO IIRC

Tony
