Hi
I have sold my mitsubishi gto and bought a n reg sti which hopefully i will pick up next week . Just a couple of questions to ask anyone ,what mileage do you change the cambelt at and is it a just a cambelt change or like the gto is it worth doing water pump and thermostat at the same time ?????. It has a standard exhaust ,which exhaust would you recommend fitting to it. The car is n reg wrx sti red top engine .
look forward to your replies .
cheers

Like any second hand car you buy, if you cant find a receipt for one change it, i think they should be changed every 45k miles, thats for my uk classic anyway. If its not been done, haggle the price down.

I thought it was worth changing the entire engine on the GTO at cam belt change time

Welcome to Scoob ownership. I am new to them too, and am more impressed every time I drive it. No wonder it's called an Impreza.
