Default play with carrera 4

As above had a little play with carrera 4 and i was right behind him.Didnt do stupid speed but quick enough and he couldnt lose me. Then we both slowed down and we both give a wave as i went passed. Its nice to be acknowledged by a fellow preformance car owner.

My car is standard (apart from de-cat) so i was impressed that i stayed with him.
I think i would be gutted tho if i was him-25k car stayin with a 80-90k car.

had that a few times and stuck with 911's in a fairly standard WRX. They take off over 80 or so tho!

i destroyed one of these a while back. The guy pulled along side and made a snidy comment to his Mrs (i assume!) who both laughed and then gunned it off.

His face was so funny when i shot past him i slowed back down just to do it again -needless to say he wasn't laughing

Nice One, it's great isn't it to be able to do that.

Had a siilar one with one of them big Porsche Caynan Off roaders, his missus didn't look too happy when I eventually pulled off at my exit!!

Also, it's my 1,000 post!!!

Well..... I got well and truely canned by a Cayenne the other day on the motorway, right up my **** laughing at me as he easily came past me with my foot to the floor.

It was one of those Turbo S's with 521bhp. I never knew they were that fast though. Mind you at motorway speeds weight is less of a factor.

Auto - that cyclist would have to have a rocket up his **** !!

I'd take a 911 turbo over any Impreza, but would happily take a Type 25 over a Boxster.

I would have to vouch for the Cayenne Turbo S..
A friend has one and **** ME can it shift. Being inside it, its effortless, and almost silent unless foot to the floor.

If anyone in SE London sees a black Turbo S, with Badda Bing / Mafia plates in the back window.... Thats Bruno Nutta!

My friend has a 997 C4S with the sport pack (380 bhp) I can hold with him untill about 80 then he just walks away, so I am now upgrading from 330bhp to 400 see if that helps,

I test drove a Cayman S and it is a great car to drive although it is slower than mine, but people would always say you couldn't afford the real thing (997 Turbo)

Also for 50k I would have to go for the Type 25, one of the best cars on the road for the cash

peek at what

I'd love a base spec 997 C2s, don't care if they're not as fast. They're in a different league

when i was a bit younger and lots more stupid/foolish. i had a play with a porker in my modded classsic wrx

i pulled over once on some private land

rev limiter in 5th gear so approx 158/160mph, he very slowly pulled along side, then him and his wife waved and he planted his foot and he just took off like nothing i have ever seen, i would estimate an easy 180mph although, i was concentrating hard enough on keeping mine on the black stuff and estimates are hard to judge in them conditions.

awesome sight to see.

the bloke slowed down a little, and let me catch up (on the limiter in 5th gear !!) gave another little wave and went his separate way

A 997 C4s with a half decent driver would toast pretty much most Impreza's for breakfast, even one with 330bhp.

It is just that most 911 drivers are not that bothered or competent enough to try and drive off against some zero fighter, ninja Subaru driver who will not 'lose' whatever the cost.

I have owned both - my 993 was surprisingly a shade quicker than my StiV when it was still standard and the 993 is far slower than a 996 or 997 C4S.
