2.5 or 2.0

2.5 or 2.0
Firstly can I just say Hi
I am looking to buy something mainly for track day use, I have worn the bike engined 7 type T shirt and after getting wet decided I needed a roof so bought a GTIR, lots of fun but a full time job to keep running. I have looked closely at E*o's but it seems they lack reliability and are expensive to own.
So, I have a budget of 20K, and want to know, do i buy a nearly new 2.5 WRX STi with PPP or save some cash for a rainy day and buy an older 2.0 WRX STi with PPP?.
I am not interested in this and that gauges and chrome plated thingimibobs if you get my drift
Any advice more than welcome and soz for the borin long post.
Thanx for your time

I am sure you will find a hardened Sti Classic for good money where you can have the car and a good level of cash to tune it to your future liking.
10K will but a good no bling car with the right basics.
There is an awsom spec 2.2 in For Sale @ 15K or mine at 10K!
Graham.
