Default STI MY 2003/2004

What's the difference between the 2003 and 2004 model year Type UK STI?

Anyone know the difference and how I can tell if my car is an 03 or an 04 model?

Thanks

I think there was something trivial - a light around the ignition key added for '04?

Yes(i could be wrong)it was only fitted to WR1's then MY05 and to be honest i'm not really sure if it worth having or not because i just leave mine set on auto.

The 04 didnt have DCCD-A in UK Spec.

Only the WR1 (which was based on a MY03/04) and the MY05 upwards has the DCCD-A.

As Terminator X says... the DCCD-A turns the Impreza into a completely different beast. Far more balanced and capable car than those of the years prior.

Just bear in mind that for the DCCD-A to work its magic though, power must be applied... so having some ***** to put your foot down in situations where your brain is telling you to brake is vital to ensuring you dont end up out of shape.
