Default Classic bumber prob - Please help!

My bumper has started to 'droop'.

It looks like the metal bar that the front plastic bumper bolts on to has rusted to sh*t.

What can I do about this? How expensive do you rekon?

I'm so hacked off, just as everything seems great with my car something else seems to crop up!

Cheers for any advice.

The bumper bars do corrode, then fall apart. Someone on P1WOC replaced theirs the other day. Old one looked like something off the Mary Rose, rather than modern coated/painted steel.

I don't think a replacement is too many ££s. Bloke in question got one on ebay for £50-£60....

check your local dealer, I'm sure they are alot less than that!!!!

You just need to drill the spot welds and then either weld on or drill and bolt on

Thanks guys, I'll have a look around.
