Driving up north on Friday

Exeter to Kendal for a funeral back on Saturday.
Hello to in advance all other scoobynetters I might see along the way.
One question. As its rounghly a 750 mile round trip apart from the obvious (tyre pressue, washer full, oil) is there anything else that I should check given current weather. Car was serviced around 1000 miles ago and got new shoes (F1's) as well.
Thanks in advance.

If you always use SUL, it may be worth plotting the location of garages that sell it along your route. Not all do, so could save some worry looking when the gauge is reading "Empty"

Don't forget to make sure you have some decent tapes / CD's in the car - otherwise you'll have heard Britney Spears and HearSay over and over about twenty times by the time you're half-way there!
