HID headlights on STI 7 through an SVA test?
#1
I am currently importing a STI 7 from Japan with the HID (Gas discharge) lights which will arrive in the UK in FEB, now I know that it will fail the SVA test because they have not got a washer system. Has anyone managed to get them through the test by changing the blubs or do I have to buy some new headlights?
Is there anyone out there with an old set of uk lights spare that I could borrow for a few days?
Thanks for any help
Cheers

Tim,
The goverment have changed to rules again, did your 22b have HID lights????? as the requirement for washers only applies to them.
My EVO 7 passed the SVA in July before the new requirements came into effect.
You also need something called a model report on cars newer than 97 it costs 400 ish for the STI 7
Cheers
