50k Service cost?
Hi all
I've just had a quote for a 50k service on my 51reg WRX of £450 inc vat and a free courtesy car.
Apparently the 50,000 service includes the cambelt, an oil/filter change and a general checkover but no change of the gearbox oil or brake fluid etc.
Its from 'Lifestyle Subaru' in Tunbridge Wells who sound very helpful and efficient but thought i'd just check i'm not being a mug!
Does it sound about right to you guys?
Cheers

I was quoted £300-00 inc vat recently for a friend from a Subaru Specialist with a stamp. Hire car would of been £25 a day though.
That was in York... bit far for you though

It's sounds a bit on the high side. My 50K service on my STi is due in the next few months, I've been quoted £304+vat from my local Subaru dealership. This doesn't include a courtesty car though!

No idea where you are but mine was £327 at the Subaru dealer in Falkirk. That was with SIDC discount though so about £350 otherwise.
Courtesy car was free if you brought in insurance saying you were covered or £12.50 a day to add you to their insurance. TBH it wasn't needed. Dropped her off at 8:30 saturday morning, picked her up, nicely washed at 12:30
Stamp and carrying on the warrenty also free would expect a specialist to be under £300 or it isn't worth it (assuming your dealer doesn't go for the rip off)

Yes Iain Grieve. Excellent service, went there because i didn't rate S&S where i bought the car from.
Discount is on parts and labour (10%) so i got money off everything from a touch up pen to a bootliner.
