Bee Sting Aerial?
Since having tints on my car (WRX 2005) I have been unable to get any AM radio station (sorry -I'm old = Radio Five). I was told a bee stinf aerial would solve the problem. Any suggestions where to go and how much it would cost?

As far as I'm aware, a bee-sting aerial is just a shortened, non extending type, that works the same as a standard aerial. Where is the aerial on your car now? I can't see how having tinted windows would have affected it unless, yor aerial was the type stuck to the window.

I had mine sourced and fitted by Powerstation when I bought the car. It is a DAB aerial, and has worked very well.
You can probably make it out in the pictures.

Thanks chaps.
Yes, aerial is on rear screen - when I try and tune into an AM station the whole rear screen turn into an amplifier! If you tap the screen it sounds like a drum but I get no radio stations! Like the look of the bess-sting in your pics.
