Default Model report for STI 7 JDM Prodrive

A mate has just bought a bugeye STI. Its a Japanese import which he brought into the country with with help of an importer.

The importer sells these cars without SVA. (i think, he did with this one.)

I think he was led to believe it was a type RA version as it has the roof scoop and i suppose most people would believe this upon looking at it anyway.

These cars are very rare and he's having a problem getting a model report to put it through an SVA.

Can someone suggest what he does, who to contact?

This is a link from subaru japan..

IMPREZA WRX STi Prodrive Style

Thanks
Rob

Heres another pic i found whilst searching on the net.... not his car by the way. His is White.

Hi Rob,
Have a chat with Richard at model reports direct or easier still drop it into someone like SVA UK......i've just done my last one as it's a pain in the butt and i saved absolutely sod all after having to buy a few bits.....never again!!
Dave.
ps....if you've got Xenon lights they'll have to be changed to halogen, took me a few hours to get right!! If you want some standard lights i've got a set you can have for £50 and i've also got the correct exhaust if yours is an aftermarket version.

Proper Prodrive Style is Uber Rare. Who were the importers?

you mentioned dropping the car into SVA UK, where would i find info about this?

there is someone who sells car on this board i have forgotten his advertiser name but he posts under juggers and im sure he may be able to help you !!! rare versions are harder to import and if so he may of bought a nice car but may not be able to drive it as the model report links directly to the model type on the vin plate etc
