Default Wax Wizard / Swossol etc.

Finally finished off my tub of wax & I was wondering what the current favorite is. Any suggestions ?

I think I paid about £70 for the tub I just finished.

lol, you're being done over pete used to buy 5 litres from my local valeters for £15. granted it was the pink variant which i believe has very little cutting action but i think you can find it cheaper old chap

i had no probs with the autoglym stuff, just doesn't last

anyway, why hasn't this been moved

I started with Swissol/Swissvax Saphir & after that tub was used up (3 years of use) i was gonna go the whole hog & get Concours wax, but Paul @ Perfromance parts recomeneded Swissvax shield wax due to the colour of my car & the fact that it contains teflon, it maintains a higher degree of protection to the car.

Had a 4 hour session last Wednesday with the pre wax oil then the wax & the reults were superb, deep shine with the smoothest paint i've ever had on the car. Never seen water run off a car so quickly

I use the Swissol/Swissvaux Shield wax too, it's fantastic. Water, bugs etc just dont want to stick to the car, amazing

Thanks - it was Saphir I had last time, so I guess I'll try Shield this time

I'm also going to give the Autobahn wheel wax a go - my wife has a Range Rover and I've never seen so much dust....
