Angry Curbed an Alloy

How sickening does it feel? VERY !!

Just did my front left one on Friday. Parking in a car park, and lost consentration for a split second. Next think I know I'm scraping alone a kerb. One third on the alloy is kerbed.

I felt sick when I saw it. Been annoyed with myself all weekend.

PFF7 Alloys too.

Rant over

he probably can, but its just that horrible feeling of when you do it.

i caught one of mine on an extremely high kerb whilst trying to avoid a parked windows van with the sticky out bit on the side for glass panels.

i was gutted to say the least...

I know exactly what you mean. Luckily I've been okay in my scoob, but my last car was the first I had with alloys and boy did I crunch the living daylights outta them..

The tyres with rim protectors are at least a lot better, but it is gutting!

its even worse when youve misjudged a corner, and smacked over a kerb, taking a chunk out your oz-racing prodreive alloys

gutted considering they were only 3 weeks into a refurb.

Just this weekend kerbed both driver side of my old Prodrive wheels avoiding a bus that pulled out in front of me out of a junction, better the wheels than the whole car.

That sounds like a road traffic accident to me. If you got the bus reg you could claim of insurance.

Ak at a local decent tyre place, (NOT KwikFit). They will put you onto someone who will be able to refurb the wheel as good as new
