I've been told my 2001 JDM STI has a 2 point solanoid, would investing in a 2 poin:wonder really make that much difference when the car is mapped??

The three port allows for more precision in the boost control thus allowing more aggressive settings to be used.

BOB!! I'm not worthy!!

Joke and apart, these are my plans, I have a 2001 JDM Bugeye STI, would the 3 port make that much difference - Total bell mouth 3" de-cat exhaust, K&N or similar panel filter and a walbra 225 fuel pump.

PS. how much would you charge to map it

I've got one of them.Noticed on here, if you clean the 2 port boost selonoid, it is good.

How do you do this?

What tubues to take off, bits to clean with what, and how to put it back?

Regards
