#1
I was blasting down the A1 South today, and theres a white UK turbo comming up behing me. I was doing about 80 to 90, pulled over to let him past, and got ready to wave, when I relised it said ECILOP on the bonnet!
It was covered in orange/yellow stripes on the back & sides. How long have the rozzers had these?? First one ive seen.
Jammy gits. Bet they couldnt believe it when their boss handed them the keys to the new panda!

Hull/Humberside police have had marked Imprezas for years now, ridding themselves of the Cossies they used to use.
Seen one and got a wave and grins from both occupants as they passed me doing 75!

Humberside employed them for iirc the specific problem of joy riders. Scoob was in attendance with a specially modifed senator which was a mobile dog kennel.
Not quite sure how it worked, but when car thief decided to dump the nicked motor, they tended to get a bit of a savaged right arm
Not seen it for a long time now, so not sure if they still have it. Humberside Police have a very odd *traffic* policy these days, not quite on Nottinghamshire standards, but going that way. But hey, at least they don't like Gatso's either. Just look out for the blue transit vans parked at the side of roads.

Cumbria has two, one white marked and a blue one unmarked,
I had a encounter with the unmarked one when i was running in my car, came up behind and tailed me for a mile and then floored it and went past.
I had a chat with a local dealer and he confirmed the two cars were standard apart from uprated brakes and were looked after by a north yorkshire dealer
i have had a couple of waves off the marked on every now and then
