Default Anybody know who dazdavies is?

Hi all,

I have paid the profile dazdavies (https://www.scoobynet.com/member.php?u=2163) for some Blitz gauges but I have never recieved them. According to him they were shipped on the 9th of june, but I have not recieved anything and there has been radio silence from his side ever since.

Could anybody help me figure out who he actually is?

Thanks in advance

Rasmus

The profile does'nt really match that description, so I am hoping that this is all just a mistake.

It just bothers me that I have send several PMs and e-mail, all unanswered. But if you look at the profile you can see that he has been online today.......

Shipped on 9th June - when there were no floods ...

I thought 'shipping' would be better with floods anyway lol

Hahaha :-) I hear what you say.

Hopefully this is just a misunderstanding or is it the Danes that are to easy to scam?

I'll have fire up the viking ship and go rob and pillage ;-)

Just an update to warn people to do any business with Daz. I have stil not heard from him despite the fact that I can see he has been online. I can only asume that he do not want to talk to me.

This means that I now need to turn this over to the police. If anybody has any contact to him please let him know that.

Regards

Rasmus

What is happening to SN? Is the spirit changing or what? This is that secound time in 6 months that I get ripped of.

If somebody know Daz please let me know I am looking for him. I know that the police is a bit desperate, but when I know that he has been online and still does not answer my messages I just do not know what to do.

Hope he didn't take you for too much mate. If he did, then report it to the police to see if they can help. It is theft after all.

Then again, he may have a legitimate reason for not honouring the agreement which I do hope is the case.

Have you contacted the SN owners to see if they can assist in anyway?

If you paid him via paypal then raise a query with them and get your cash back. There may be a legitimate reason for him not sending the items, but at the end of the day not giving your money back is ridiculious and should be treated as theft.

Good luck claiming your cash/goods

Could anybody inform me on how to report dazdavies in the infraction system?

I still have not gotten this issue solved and I am left without money or gods and seriously want to warn anybody from doing business with dazdavies. Is there any official way to report him and get this issue written in his profile?

Thanks in advance

dont be silly! infractions are for useless petty arguments not for a serious situation like yours mate!
how did you pay for it??
ring the police if i were you! they might talk sense in to him.

I paid by paypall, but the issue is that after a month you can't reclaim.

The Police is an option, but I'll give him one last chance and also want to warn anybody from dealing with him.

I'm another waiting on money from him.

Months ago i was selling a rollcage which we came to a descision to do a straight swop for some headers he was selling. He came up to Scotland and done the deal.......i didn't look properly at the headers, as later on when i sold them to a friend, i was told the had multiple cracks and on inspection, the cracks were at the collector...somewhere not mig gun would get into reweld them up.

After coming to a deal with Daz, i've had SOME money off him. Not the full amount we agreed and my PM's have had no reply.

It may only be £55, but it's the whole lot i've lost out on. So far a rollcage i bought for nearly £400 has gotten me under £145 back, as i've already sent the headers back to him.

I'm a bit shocked TBH. I know Daz and have had dealings with him and he is a genuine guy. If it was not for the fact there seems to be rather a lot of evidence i would say there would be a genuine reason.

p1mark >> I agree with you. I find it strange that he would risk a long membership at this site with small petty deals like this........ Never the less this is the current situation, this is my last resort. I want this sorted by now, it's been six months since i transfeered the money.

I have both his private and company adress here, so that part is not that part has been solved. I just want to be absolutely sure that anybody would want a Police case on them for a petty sum of 175£ + 55£ (drb5).

Also I posted this post to be sure thatt nobody else do any business with him and also to make the admins write this in his profile.

You have to be carefull with paypal because onece the transaction is over a month old you cannot retract it. Conmen often dick you around for a month telling you it's been returned and is being re posted then after a month you hear jack. My advise after being duped like that is alway's use paypal and if you don't have you're goods after 2 week retract the transaction.

P.s why can't people just do stright bussiness anymore ****ing depressing!!

There isn't an infraction option for this kind of situation, and it's not the right way to go anyway.

I would send a private message, or email (webmaster@scoobynet.com) to Simon (Webmaster), point him at this thread, and also explain the situation and he may well do something about it. I know in the past some user accounts pop up with a "Under Investigation" item in big red letters under their username, whilst things are being looked into. This might be enough to make people wary of him, or ask why on earth that is there. The next step would probably be for him to be banned from the site.

** edit **
Ok, maybe if I read his other threads it'd be obvious that you have posted on them and he's seemingly fobbing you and others off

I'm about to condone something somewhat childish, which might get you and I into trouble, but if it gets you a good result, it might be worth it.
You're a plus member, and I *think* plus members can have a signature in the profile, if not, you should be able to set a mood via your plus profile. Both of these will appear on every single post you make (and possibly ever have made, not totally sure on that bit though). What you could do is put something into your signature/mood indicating that people should not deal with dazdavies because of the problems you've had with him. I'm sure you could think of something appropriate and truthful. dbr5 could, as he's an orange member, do something similar, as could anyone else who is in the same situation and has the membership ability to do so.
Obviously I could not possible condone such action

We've done that Markus, but he's yet to reply.

Myself and Rasmus agreed to give him a couple of days and with no reply, bring this thread back up to the top.

Have a read of my edited post for an idea that might be worth a shot.
