Having not seen the 2008 STi How do you know what it will look like ?

 

cos it's gonna be based on this pile of carp..!



Seriously though I really hope Subaru pull one out of the hat for the Sti but the chances don't look great imo..

I am actually starting to like the 2008 Hatch But what will be will be.

I have seen a few pictures of the 2008 STi and it looks a little more aggressive and more like the STi's we all know. But its not shrinking violet.

if the new sti looks like those pictures all will be forgiven. subaru should give that guy a job.

Really peeps ought to comment once they've actually seen both the "MY08STi" and the "EVO X" IMHO

TBH the "EVO X" in concept form looks great but crap in reality were as the WRX looks Crap but the Sti will look much better

Tooooo many peeps are righting off the Sti as a dog before actually seeing it and "buying" an Evo X because concept Pic looks good but in reality looks Pants IMHO

Whatever it (the real STi) ends up looking like.. those top renders and the one on the linked site look very nice considering it's a hatchback. If (and it's a big IF) Subaru pull something like that out of the bag I do think they will be onto a winner in overall sales throughout the Impreza range. Only time will tell I guess.

I still think it's a mistake not releasing a saloon version or middle ground WRX in the UK as well however!

Not quite mate, but i do see where you are coming from.

If you remove the good bits from any scoob though, it looks like some second rate jap base .

I have to be honest, i dont like the WRX, although the front is growing on me. The back is not good, even on the blue photoshop Sti.

I will reserve judgement on the Sti until i see it though. Lets hope it is mental like the first one!!!

I think people are looking at the skin and not whats underneath the subaru should have a stronger engine than the older version, and from what's being said, the evo will have a weaker engine than the older version (new all alloy engine), but we shall wait and see
