Default sti8 - s2000 - sti type r??? Options

Well after selling my much loved sti8 a few months ago i am sorely missing it.

Bought an s2000 for a year, but yeaterday i saw a lovely blue sti type r what i think was a version 5 or 6???

Before i bought the s i had a look at type r's but most were version 4's. Is it really difficult to get a good version 5 or 6 type r???

And how much do they usually go for as i suppose a p1 would be the other option????

For what i understand you can't ship type r's into the country anymore which has obviously helped them hold value. You can get hold of lovely examples that are already in the country already but you will get what you pay for.

Personally i've never really been a fan of a p1 and they are known to have a few reliability issues.

but i thought the p1 was the same engine as the type r only officially imported into the uik by subaru.

a good type r seems to be £8-9k

good p1 £10-11k
????????????????????????????????
