What happened on the bugeye as well? I think they are really awful from the front.
I like all the others and, although initially disheartened by the new design, am reserving judgment until I see one on the road.

Nice to see that you have acutally seen/driven the mk5 (and i dont mean pictures when i say seen either)
Mk1, well it went though a couple of phases, so why didnt you show a nice pic of the original back in 92? (3 facelifts) rather than an STi v5 type R which didnt come into the equasion until jan 97? (or are you just scared that it would look old next to the rest of them )
Now you made me feel like doing another thread and putting this mk5 slating to bed.....

my name on MSN - GC8 forever!
There will never be a better looking impreza ever again. I think what subaru should of done, was redesign the GC for 2008. Keeping all the charachistic shape, noise - unequal length headers, and performance.

It looks like that when the new Impreza does arrive here it will be just like owning one of the early cars, as no one on here is buying one they'll be a rare sight.

Who am i talking too? as far as im concerned i dont even know you.
You've fabricated an issue with me over jack ****, Booted me off your beloved site for no real reason claiming i dont post enough and just when i thought you were both mature enough to let bygones be bygones your mrs pipes back up with her childish comment.
i had 50+ post when you decided to kick me off "EYIOC" claiming that if users dont post often enough there account would be Cancelled, Tell me.
Why are there 11 users still on your members list with 0 post?
Bottom line is i dont care why you did it but a christ sake will you just move on and get over it.
The world is bigger than you and me and i have far more interesting things to do with me time than explain myself to you over an internet forum.
Good luck with EYIOC and your Business and whatever else you decide to do in the future.
It ends here! Ta

Back on topic - would love to see a thread with small organised pics of every version, but after the "how many versions exist" thread showed well over 100 it'd be very time consuming to do. Wife would prefer me to get on with the bathroom !

Anyway Version 2 for me, but again I will be bias.

P.S Love All Scoobs apart from the new one, but I shall consider when I see one in the flesh and what Prodrive come up with. If they are going to work on it

I'm sure it was a similar story when the Blob and Hawk appeared, so once people get used to the new shape then a lot more people may actually like it.

Shouldn't the original classic be descibed as mark 1 and then the facelift mark 2? Afterall, they did tweak the engine as well as body styling, even if the chassis is still the same.
