Default Engine Rebuild Advice please :)

Head gaskets need doing on my Type_r and i have a couple of options.....

1) Get the engine out and gaskets replaced......

Cheapest, but ignoring bottom end

2) Get the engine out, bottom end stripped then rebuilt

I know which is best.....

BUT, I'm working to a very tight budget but is it stupid not to do the full job whislt the engines out?

Help....

P.S. thanks to everyone thats offered advice so far

Default ..

take the engine out and get the whole thing stripped and properly inspected, if the rods and pistons are fine, just put it in ACL uprated bearings, new piston rings, replace all the gaskets and seals and fit a uprated oil pump, i think that would be the cheapest option and best in the long run if your not going to be running big power

I'm going for around 350/320 if possible?

I do have another option, which is fit a low miles CDB bottom end that's already been built to a decent spec, but not 100% sure yet.
