Air box with an uprated panel filter, unless you've got a FMIC. Do a search.

im still open as i had a greddy cone stlye filter on my car when it was imported,it was an old style one so i couldnt get a new element for the cone so went back to standard air box with a k and n panel filter.

car feels way more sluggish from 0-40 and the responce doesnt feel as violent as it did with the greddy intake

I suppose it depends on what time of year you are running it at though. Probably alright when ambient temp hits 0 celcius but i would imagine it will make a world of difference when the ambient hits 30 due to under bonnet temps.

Cones deffo give more flow, but also more particles. I used a piper panel in mine and drilled the air box, best of both worlds.
