don't think it will make any differnece to your performance, all it will do is keep your turbo cooler than the one you have.

but think someone else will know better than me

Not sure whether the only difference is the STi marking?

Buy a tin of Red Spray Paint from the Poundshop and make up an STi Stencil - spray it and jobs a good 'un

I doubt very much whether there will be any power gain at all

On the bugeye the STI i/c is bigger and deeper than the WRX one. It won't in itself produce any extra power, but will allow more power with other mods - up to about 400/400, compared to 350/350 or so I believe for the WRX item.

Won't affect the turbo at all. The turbo is up wind from the intercooler.

The intercooler cools the turbo compressed air (compressing air warms it up - bike pump analogy) to make it denser thereby allowing more O2 into the engine for combustion.
