I bought a new grill badge for te wagon a couple of weeks ago. It is a rabbit with the sti logo at the bottom. I did some reserch and found that Subaru's first mode of transport was a scooter called the rabbit. Is this true and if so is the badge just showing a bit of history?

 

i believe that is true mate, not sure if it was called the rabbit but they started with scooters either before or after the war, then they started to make small cc cars. think it was a couple of companys coming together that made fuji heavy industries.
