Default lambada sensor faulty?

hi everyone, my 94wrx is really anoying me at the moment..
The engine keeps cutting out for a split second on a fairly regular basis. When this happens the check engine light and another symbol flashes up at the same time. could this be a broken lambada sensor? please help....

just checked and everything is normal.
the check engine light doesn't stay lit when the fault occurs when driving, it just flashes up for a split second, thanks for useful link though.
going to fetch a new lambada sensor now to eliminate that
