hi all,

i was driving a JDM 1999 V6 STi classic that my m8's just picked up, it pulls absolutely fine and strong in 1st and 2nd but in 3rd gear after about 5000rpm the knocklink flashes up to red, the engine management light flashes on the dash and the car does not pull well at all!!! ive been advised that as it newly imported, a service and decent set of plugs should do the job as well as some high ron fuel!!!

any ideas/similar reaction???

Knocklink red means Detting...!!

are you running 99ron? i would get it mapped for UK fuel.
