Default Cambelt due shortly.

My o3sti is on 42k and have been informed that the belt is due at 50k.
I live near Chester in the North West. Any recomendations on where to take it? Dont really want to take it main dealer as they charge a fortune but on the flip side dont just want to use the cheapest?

Regards Dan.

I paid less than £200 for a cambelt at main dealer 18 months ago. You may be surprised...

It's any easy DIY job .....

But £200 at a Main Dealer would be worth doing The warranty on it is worth that!

Hi mate,
From Chester also. Try Holdcroft sub in Newcastle/Stoke for a quote. Going there Friday (am having 40k service minus belt change), think theirs was a lot cheaper than I paid at the now demised Widness branch (seemed to indicate only 1 hr labour for belt, where I was charged 3 or 4 at Widness). Failing that there is Graham Walker on Bumpers lane or Four ways (?) in Prestatyn that has a good rep. Try Holdcroft though, you may be surprised
Good luck
