Default Help

I'm in the process of mounting a WRX (2002) intercooler on a Forester and need some information.
The brackets on the WRX intercooler are 2cm further back than those on the Forester version so I need to know if the Impreza mounting arms are longer than the Forester ones. Assuming a similarity in shape the right hand mounting arm is exposed and easy to measure. On the Forester there are two slightly off-set bolts attaching the arm to the engine and a single hole for the intercooler bracket at the other end of the arm. On the Forester arm the distance between the RH outer of the pair of bolts and the single bolt hole is 160mm centre to centre. I'd be extremely grateful if a couple of people could measure their mounting arms, and if the arm is 180mm centre to centre let me know what version car they have.

Thanks Obi
