Default Lack Of Tuning Places In Bham,why?

I've always wondered why there is a lack of tuning shops in Bham,definately a big market for it here so why hasnt anyone taken up the challenge.

any answers guys n girls?

yeah,I've noticed that, I now use API who are the closest, who have a good rep with subarus.

They seem more intent on taking cars apart than tuning them.

I do know of some small places in and around the outskirts, but they seem like small fish; more intent on selling you needless dumpvalves and turbo timers rather than offering something that would be of real benefit.

But I suppose thats partly down to the types of customer; More interested in bling and ICE rather than real tuning.

where is a good breakers yard in B'ham for trim parts etc. cheers.

Not nice, I'm an (ex) Brummie!

There are no tuners for Impreza's in Brum.

Nearest and best is API in Leamington Spa outskirts in the countryside, 3 miles off M40 by Gaydon.
They can do it all there.(inc some work on my race car)

There is only a handful of quality tuners scattered around the country. You will have to travel to get the best. I travel well over a hundred miles to go to my tuner/engine builder, Api
