cat d!
Hi
Cat D is insurance total loss of minor nature (non structural), vehicle does not need a VIC test. It is not shown on the logbook V5.
Cat C total loss of a structural nature, after repair vehicle must be submitted for a VIC test before the V5 will be re-issued and it will say on the logbook.
Cat B total loss, chasis must be crushed, certain parts may be removed.
Cat A total loss: Vehicle must be completely crushed, no parts are salavaged.
Hope that helps,
Regards
Richard
