I have a classic impreza approaching the 90k mark and need to get a service. been recommended API but they are full until may 12th at least.

Is the 90K a cambelt change? If so i don't fancy the risk of going over, which i will by then. Anyone recommend another place near london?

I do beleive on the Classics that the cambelt is every 45k,or 3/4 years,so check when it was last done,because if it was late last time,or only done a couple of years ago,it should be fine,and API do get rave reviews on here.

 

Up to and including MY99 it's every 45k miles or 3 years. From MY2000 it changed to 60k miles or (4 years?). I don't why it was changed, i assume the engine and the parts are exactly the same. Also on the MY99s the brake fluid is also changed at the 90k.

Just in case you are not aware, the 90k service combines the major 30k service with the 45k cambelt service to give a double whammy.
