Transmission loss varies for all types of car, so +50 is rubbish. Dynos try and measure this loss as the engine etc. spins down, so can give an 'at the flywheel' estimate however all they really measure accurately is the at the wheels figure.
ru' is right. On a scoob the losses are usually about 20%. At SC my car did 260 at the wheels which was reckoned to be 328 at the crank. Another car could be a fair bit different.
