i have been looking to buy a rolling shell from ebay to drop my engine & gearbox into.

I would have preferred an RA as thats what the engine is from my 96RA.

I have found this bargain (in my opinion) however it app. has no papers.

Is this because it would have been purchased by a Scrap yard to break and therefore have no papers, or could it be stolen and broken ???

Could you get the papers for a car without any papers ?????

Best thing to do would be ask for the chassis number and either contact dvla or one of the hpi places...

 

Robbed - a scrappy would have paperwork and it isn't an imported rally car (there were a few about without SVA's)

If you put it back together and wanted to put it onto the road you would need to get it SVAd.

 

Unless you get the correct V5 (log-book) from the DVLA to match the chassis no on the shell, dont touch it with a very long barge-pole......
